How many times this year have you photographed your own ID and sent it to someone?

Hotel check-in. Rental car. A new contract. Supplier onboarding. Half of them went by WhatsApp. I counted mine: 9.

Here's the part nobody mentions. The second you hit send, it's gone. You don't know who opens it. You don't know which shared folder it lands in. You don't know how many times it has been forwarded since, or to whom.

A check happens and disappears. A copy lives forever, and it multiplies without telling you.
